ICAN - Innovative Collaborations, Alliances and Networks, a Key University Research Centre at the University of Technology, Sydney, was established in 1997, and since then has experienced significant expansion.
Operating from an office within the Faculty of Business, ICAN is a multi-disciplinary research centre bringing together expertise in social sciences, information technology, accounting, management studies and marketing. ICAN Research initiatives are funded by the Research Office and the Faculty of Business at UTS, as well as by competitive ARC grants and strategic research partnerships secured by the research team.
ICAN partners with a number of private, public and professional organisations and associations in a range of activities, such as conferences and workshops, professional training and development of best practices on alliances and collaboration. Presently it is developing an international standard for alliancing.
ICAN Research promotes scholarships, training, publications, seminars, tailored reports, consultancies and conferences, insights and enhanced understanding of all types of innovative organisational collaborations, alliances and networks.
ICAN Research always strives to conducts its research and other business with its various partners on the basis of best practice collaborative relationships.
