Established in 1997, ICAN Research has since developed affiliations, linkages and partnerships both locally and overseas. Therefore, as a leading research centre on knowledge of innovation, collaboration, alliances and networks, ICAN members play an important role in the running and steering of its dynamic research agenda.

The management of ICAN Research has been strategically structured so that all members collaborate for the achievement of the Centre's administrative and research objectives.

Professor Stewart Clegg is the Director and founder of ICAN, and Assoc. Professor Siggi Gudergan is Deputy Director. ICAN has two paid staff, Ms. Cleo Lester (Executive Assistant), and Mr Jochen Schweitzer (Project Manager).
